Virtual visit is fast and easy to use, and it can diagnose more than 3,000 skin, hair and nail conditions. Receive a diagnosis within three business days – or sooner – and any prescriptions will be sent to your selected pharmacy. You’ll also be able to ask questions about the diagnosis and treatment of a single condition for up to 30 days.

Begin your secure virtual visit using our mobile dermatology app or our browser-based system. Both of West County Dermatology’s virtual dermatology systems are provided through our parent company, United Skin Specialists. Start your visit with these steps after you’re directed to the United Skin Specialists’ website or app.

Download the app or go to our Virtual Visit page. Then you’ll be asked to provide details about your medical history and skin condition.
2. Upload Photos
Take several photos of your current condition and upload them to our secure platform.
3. Get a Diagnosis
Receive your diagnosis and personalized treatment plan in three business days or sooner.

Are Virtual Visits Only Available for Certain Conditions?
We can diagnose more than 3,000 skin, hair and nail conditions via our online dermatology care. The most common conditions we treat are acne, suspicious moles, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis.
How Much Does an Online Dermatology Visit Cost?
The cost of an online visit is $99, which includes the diagnosis, personalized treatment plan and prescription routing to your pharmacy. The fee does not cover the cost of the prescription(s).
Is This Service Covered by Insurance?
Virtual visits typically are not covered by insurance plans. Use any major credit card, or the convenient forms provided in the online visit to submit for your Health Spending Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for treatment.
Whom Can I Schedule a Virtual Visit For?
You can schedule an online dermatology visit for yourself or a member of your family including children over age 8. Children younger than 8 need to be seen by of our dermatologists in our clinic at 1001 Chesterfield Parkway East, Chesterfield, MO 63017, 636-532-2422.
How Soon Can I Expect a Diagnosis?
You will receive a diagnosis in 3 business days or sooner, and typically in less than 24 hours. You can receive counseling from the dermatologists for up to 30 days concerning the diagnosis and treatment for a single condition.
What If I Need a Skin Biopsy or In-Office Procedure?
If your doctor determines that an in-office procedure is needed, contact our office to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Additional visit costs or insurance claims will apply.
Are My Personal Health Information and Photos Kept Confidential?
